Description
The Jones Womens Stratos 2025 Splitboard is a hybrid all-mountain board made for creative freeriding and all-terrain trickery. A tapered directional freeride shape combined with a freestyle board feel make the Stratos incredibly playful and maneuverable in pow and mixed conditions. The Stratos wants to cut corners and bounce down the mountain by popping every bump, jump or cliff.
Shape
Directional - With this shape, the binding is a bit more backwards so your snowboard has a longer nose. As the name suggests, this is mainly a freeride|all-mountain snowboard that gives you more float in powder.
Rocker Type
Directional Rocker - this is a hybrid profile with more rocker in the tip and camber between the bindings. This gives you more maneuverability, edge grip and response.
Flex rating
7/10 - Going hard on the slopes is no problem with the stiffest snowboards. This hard flex offers the highest response and support. A powerful snowboard for powerful snowboarders.
Core
V-Core - these snowboards are a bit softer in the middle of the board for better maneuverability and stiffer in the nose and tail for stability and pop.
Base
Sintered 9900 Base - durable material made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and carbon.
Extra
Traction Tech 3.0 - better grip thanks to the three bumps under the front binding, the middle of the board, rear binding
Bio resin - Renewable bio-based epoxy instead of petroleum-based epoxy.
Bond compatibility
2x4 - This system is the most common pattern for snowboards today. Two rows of inserts are provided that are 2 inches apart. This allows for different stand widths. To attach your snowboard binding, you need four screws in the 2x4 system.
Terrain
All-Mountain|Freeride|Freestyle - With this snowboard you can really handle everything. It is suitable for all-mountain, playful enough for freestyle and stiff enough for freeride. A versatile beast for every snowboarder.
Rider level
Advanced|Expert - These snowboards are for the most experienced snowboarders. In these snowboards you often see metal, carbon and other reinforcements for optimal stiffness and strength.
