Description
The Jones Ultralight Project X 2025 Snowboard is an ultralight all-mountain board for carving, freestyling and freeriding. The board has a tapered directional shape and freestyle board feel, making it incredibly playful and maneuverable in powder and mixed conditions.
Shape
Directional - With this shape, the binding is a bit more backwards, giving the snowboard a longer nose. This makes the snowboard perfect for freeride and all-mountain riding, giving you more float in powder.
Rocker Type
Directional Rocker - this is a hybrid profile with more rocker in the tip and camber between the bindings. This gives you more maneuverability, edge grip and response.
Flex rating
5/10 - mhe flexibility rating of 4.5 to 6.5, these snowboards are stable on the piste and offer enough flexibility for the park. It is the perfect balance between stability and forgiveness.
Core
FSC™ Fusion Core - this core is primarily made from paulownia with specially placed pockets in poplar wood. The lightest wooden core of Jones ever.
Base
Ultra Base - these Jones base has 25% better wax absorption, better durability when grinding and glides better in warm/wet snow.
Terrain
Splitboarding: All-Mountain|Freeride - These boards are designed to be split into two halves, making it easy to go uphill. Simply attach your touring bindings to the board halves and hit the road! When you're ready to head down the mountain, snap the two halves back together to form a full snowboard. This way you can enjoy the best of both worlds during your backcountry adventures.
Rider level
Advanced|Expert - These snowboards are for the most experienced snowboarders. In these snowboards you often see metal, carbon and other reinforcements for optimal stiffness and strength.
