The snowboard

The Stoked Black LP Pro Model 157W 2023 Snowboard is the all-mountain freestyle snowboard developed by Stoked Board Co in cooperation with Verdad Snowboards. As a tribute to our freestyle snowboarder Lorenzo Peeters, we designed this black snowboard for the boarders who want to rip everything. Piste, park & powder. Ideal for the intermediate to expert snowboarder. A full camber profile and twin shape make this board your weapon to conquer the whole mountain.

Terrain: All-Mountain Freestyle
This snowboard can handle higher speeds on the piste thanks to a combination of factors. The classic camber profile, medium flex and extra carbon & kevlar play a major role. In addition, the black LP has an OG t-Twin shape, so you can also use it for freestyle. Perfect for popping pistes, carving, and hitting jumps. If you like to ride some powder between the pistes, you can certainly do so with this Stoked Black LP.

Profile: Classic Camber
The camber profile of your board determines its stiffness and responsiveness. The Classic camber gives your snowboard a lot of response, pop & a smooth edge change. This board reacts very quickly to your actions, springs with you when you want to jump and carves delicious turns in small and big with precision.

Shape: OG Twin
This board is completely OG Twin, which means it is 100% symmetrical in every aspect. Both in terms of stiffness, flex and outline shape. This has many advantages. For example, you can ride switch very easily ( with your wrong foot in front). This is an important aspect if you land a 180 from a jump or want to ride a switch.
For the piste eaters among us, an OG Twin is also very pleasant to switch sides and ride down the mountain in a new way.

Flex: 5.5/10
The flex rating of this snowboard largely determines how it will react.
This is always displayed on a scale from 1, extremely flexible to 10, extremely stiff. The higher the flex rating, the more responsive your snowboard is and the faster it is going to react to your actions. Easily compared to car racing on a track. 1 a 2 is a family car that drives forgivingly and very chill while 6 a 7 is a Formula 1 car that reacts immediately with every tap.

5.5/10 Flex is perfectly in between and gives you enough stability at higher speeds and still enough flex in nose & tail to jib, play, rail and have fun on the slopes and in the snowpark.

Level: intermediate to expert
This snowboard has the right features average to expert riders need thanks to its flex rating, stiffness and base. In fact, the stiffness between the bindings ensures stability at high speeds. Carbon and Kevlar make it even sturdier and the sintered base lets you slide fast. This of course means that you can enjoy this snowboard even as a beginner, only your level will have to grow a bit to get the full benefits.

Base: Sintered Base
The base, or bottom of this gem is always made up of tiny holes or pores. Sintered base means that there are more pores in this board, so it will absorb and release more wax than an extruded base board. It costs a little more but, when waxed properly, glides a lot better. Especially on hot days & flat stretches you will notice a huge difference with a well waxed sintered base board. 

Extras: Kevlar - Carbon Diamond stone finish
The woodcore of this snowboard was reinforced with a number of extras.
These provide extra stiffness, stability and pop. That basically means the board is going to respond faster and better, easier to "jump along" when you do.
The combination of Kevlar & Carbon reinforcement absorbs all vibrations so you can focus on the next jump, carve or slide.
Diamond stone finish indicates how your board was ground in the factory. This is done at Verdad with a Diamond Stone for sharper, consistent and durable results. Sharp edges provide optimum grip on snow and ice.

The bindings

The Bent Metal Logic Black 2021 Snowboard binding is a very solid all-mountain freestyle snowboard binding with a medium-soft flex and a pack of forgiveness. Ideal for the beginner to intermediate snowboarder who sees the mountain as his playground. Also perfect if you like the slightly softer bindings and the flex and mobility they offer you on the slopes and in the park. The Mobility ankle strap and Grip form toe strap keep your snowboard boot firmly in place. 

Base

The Bi-axis drive plate offers a smooth flex with enough performance for firm edge changes. Freestyle freedom of movement

Highback

Made from a soft urethane, the Mobility Polymer Urethane Highback flexes with your boots for smoothe repsonse and guarantees a progressive freestyle experience.
Cube forward lean make it easy to adjust your binding with forward lean.

Straps

The Mobility Construction Ankle strap is a comfortable and lightweight strap that tightens nicely around your boot and distributes pressure optimally.
The Grip Form toe strap wraps around the toe side of your boot.
Forged Aluminum Buckles allow for effortless entry and exit.

The Boardbag

The Nitro Light Sack Diamond Black is a lightweight board bag from the American brand Nitro. You can perfectly fill this boardbag with a board and bindings. Water resistant and a secure closure with drawstring.
